Meghan Bateman, MS, CCC-SLP (Bilingual Spanish)
Founder and owner of Therapy Tree Services, Meghan's fluency in Spanish adds to the enjoyment of working with families of diverse cultural backgrounds. Meghan specializes in multicultural teaching techniques, offering the highest quality speech therapy to all of her families. To achieve therapy goals, Meghan works diligently to communicate and collaborate with all the families she serves. A strong family and child advocate, Meghan helps families navigate local community services and learning opportunities.
Meghan received her master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Communications from St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania. Since graduating, she has focused on pediatrics. She has worked extensively with the early intervention population for the past ten years. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners and maintains current national certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Meghan's expertise includes working with articulation and phonological delays, receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatic language delays and autism spectrum disorders. She has worked with children with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Prader-Willie Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and hearing loss.
In her free time Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She is an avid jogger and yoga student. She enjoys baking, reading, playing with her children and traveling with her family.
